It is now a popular tourist destination as well as an important agricultural zone in Thailand. There are a large number of overseas Chinese in this part of Thailand, pragmatic cooperation in various fields is gaining momentum, and people here widely embrace the idea that China and Thailand are as close as family. From North to South, and East to West, the consular district of our Consulate General ranges from Chumphon Province bordering Myanmar to Narathiwat Province adjacent to Malaysia, reaches the Gulf of Thailand in the Pacific Ocean and the Andaman Sea in the Indian Ocean, covering 14 provinces in Southern Thailand.

The Consulate General will continue to push forward the Sino-Thai friendship from the consular district level, seek greater complementarity between development strategies of the two countries, enhance cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, and strengthen friendly exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Southern Thailand in various fields.
